The Primare R35 is a dedicated stereo phono preamplifier designed to provide the best possible interface between your turntable and the rest of your hi-fi system. Engineered to faithfully and transparently amplify the delicate signals of both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, the R35 is capable of bringing out every detail from your vinyl collection. The build quality is quintessentially Scandinavian: solid, elegant and designed to last, with an isolated power supply and carefully selected components to reduce noise and interference.
Maximum loading and gain control
The R35's key feature is its extreme calibration flexibility . The device allows you to choose variable gain levels —up to +76 dB for MC and +50 dB for MM —to suit any cartridge, even low-output ones. Load impedance can be adjusted from 10 Ω to 47 kΩ and capacitance from 100 pF to 400 pF , allowing you to optimize the response to your cartridge's specifications. Additionally, a switchable subsonic filter helps protect your speakers from unwanted bass noise caused by vinyl imperfections.
Complete connections and integration into the Hi-Fi system
The R35 features an RCA phono input , balanced RCA and XLR analog outputs for flexible connection to higher-end amplifiers or preamps, and a trigger output for advanced integration. Direct load parameter adjustments are accessible on the rear panel, allowing for precise tuning without compromise. It is available in black or titanium finishes , with clean lines and a simple design that easily integrates into any audio system.
