STEP BY STEP

Altitude16 comes with set-up software that integrates installation procedures. A step-by-step process that defines how best to use the available inputs and output channels, as well as the desired speaker layouts.

Triinov products are equipped with an extremely powerful and versatile software that guarantees results of the highest level only if used by competent and highly experienced technical personnel. For this reason Videosell sells Trinnov products exclusively together with the calibration service. Our technicians are not only able to make the most of the equalization and bass management tools of the products, but by using a second audio analysis system to check the results obtained independently of the target curves proposed by Trinnov, which are pure mathematical simulations, make further manual corrections to ensure a correct result. A further great potential of Trinnov products is represented by the possibility of defining different calibration presets according to the contingent use (Home theater, Concerts, Stereophonic music, Multi-channel music) In any case, no active acoustic calibration system can ignore a passive acoustic treatment of the environment that makes it suitable for audio reproduction.

DECODING PACKAGE

The standard version of the Altitude16 natively decodes Dolby Digital Plus®, Dolby TrueHD®, DTS Digital Surround® and DTS-HD Master Audio® as well as the latest 3D technologies from Dolby Laboratories®, DTS Inc®, and Auro 3D Technologies®.

REMAPPING

Thanks to the Trinnov microphone's 3D measurement capabilities, the actual placement of each loudspeaker can be pinpointed precisely in the room for distance, azimuth, and elevation. Knowing the expected arrangement of various sounds within the soundtrack (since we decoded), we can then "remap" the sound objects from the theory of the soundtrack, to the reality of your room, using the closest two or three speakers to create a sound picture as it should be. While 2D remapping deals primarily with the horizontal plane, 3D remapping will handle both azimuths and elevations.

BASS MANAGEMENT

Trinnov provides the most sophisticated solution on the market when it comes to handling low frequencies. With the mid bass management system you can specify how one or more subwoofers will reproduce the lower end of the spectrum for each channel. But it goes further: it also allows you to manage the low frequencies of a small speaker by "redirecting" them to the closest and most suitable speaker. This gives you complete control over crossover frequencies, filter type, slope, and even where the rerouted bass will play.

REVOLUTIONARY HARDWARE

At the heart of this new generation of processors is a new approach to Digital Signal Processing, based on a revolutionary hardware architecture that is highly scalable and easy to upgrade. Instead of using multiple DSPs implemented in a complex and rigid architecture, Trinnov Audio has developed a multi-purpose computing platform, based on a single multi-core Intel processor to provide unrivaled processing capabilities.

The Altitude16 can render up to 16 discrete channels of information and is equipped with Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D and DTS:X immersive audio decoders, supports up to 16 outputs and natively processes 24/96 high resolution audio, offers active crossovers at four-way and no limitation in terms of subwoofer outputs.
