Primare SP25 Prisma: 11-channel home cinema preamplifier and processor
The SP25 Prisma multi-channel processor is built for home cinema as well as music listening. It decodes up to 11 channels of immersive audio in Dolby Atmos and DTS X, and includes Dirac Live room correction together with the Prisma network player. It is a preamplifier: every output is a pre out, the subwoofer one included, while in the same range the integrated amplifier role belongs to SPA25 Prisma.
Conversion is handled by two ESS 9026PRO chips. Seventeen user-defined input presets let digital and analogue sources be combined freely, while five speaker setup presets store different loudspeaker and DSP arrangements. The left and right front analogue outputs are doubled, so the main speakers can be bi-amped. Dirac Live analyses the room and digitally reduces its influence, leaving scope for manual tuning: the Limited Bandwidth licence is included, the Full Bandwidth one is ordered from the Dirac website.
