Pro-Ject Peanuts Turntable

Peanuts Turntable is the special-edition belt-drive deck marking 75 years of Peanuts, built on the T1 BT platform: integrated phono stage, Bluetooth transmitter, 8.6-inch aluminium arm and a pre-adjusted Ortofon OM 10 MM cartridge.

Peanuts Turntable: what is inside

Charles M. Schulz's strip first appeared on 2 October 1950 and turned 75 in 2025: Pro-Ject marks the date with artwork made up of music-themed panels. Supplied with the turntable is an acrylic Charlie Brown disc, to be laid over the main glass platter.

Beneath the decoration lie the mechanics of the T1 BT, a deck conceived to bring real high fidelity to newcomers. The motor turns a redesigned sub-platter by belt, carried on a bearing with a hardened-steel spindle and brass bush made to a 0.001 mm tolerance. The 8 mm blasted-glass platter is heavy and has little tendency to ring. Changing between 33 and 45 rpm is done by hand.

The light aluminium arm carries the Ortofon OM 10 with tracking force already set to 17.5 mN. The internal phono stage allows connection to a line input, though the phono output remains available too; alternatively the signal can be sent wirelessly to Bluetooth speakers or headphones. Dust cover, felt mat, power supply and RCA cable are included.
