A belt-drive turntable with a solid, plastic-free plinth, an 8 mm glass platter and a one-piece aluminium arm fitted with an Ortofon OM10. It is the base model of the range, with a direct phono output for an existing phono input or stage.
T1 EVO: how it is built
The T1 EVO starts from a simple idea: remove from the turntable anything that can resonate. The wooden plinth is CNC-milled from a solid block, with no cavities where vibration might build up and no plastic components. The platter follows the same logic: a slab of blasted glass 8 mm thick, heavy and inert, chosen over plastic and thin steel, and used with the felt mat provided. The feet decouple the plinth from the furniture.
The motor passes its drive through a belt to a redesigned sub-platter, carried on a bearing machined to a 0.001 mm tolerance: a hardened stainless steel shaft inside a brass sleeve. Electronic motor control holds the rotation steady and lets you move from 33 to 45 rpm without shifting the belt. The outcome is an even, resonance-resistant rotating base on which arm and cartridge can do their work properly.
The 8.6-inch arm is a single piece of aluminium, headshell included: no screwed or glued joints are there to vibrate, and low-friction bearings make its movement precise. The moving-magnet Ortofon OM10 has an elliptically cut diamond tip. The signal leaves through the Connect it E lead, semi-balanced, shielded and low in capacitance, developed specifically for turntables. A dust cover is included and assembly is done by hand in the Czech Republic.
