Travel Set: what is in the case
The set is aimed at people who spend a few days away, at a hotel or a weekend house, and still want proper stereo listening. Inside the case, which shields the components in transit, are the Stereo Box S3 BT amplifier, the two Speaker Box 3 E Carbon loudspeakers, Connect it LS E Flex speaker cable and six Damp it feet. The Italian distributor's catalogue describes the case as a wheeled aluminium trolley.
Stereo Box S3 BT is a very compact integrated amplifier, 103 mm wide and 37 mm tall, weighing 450 g. It delivers 2 x 40 W into 4 ohms and provides two line inputs on RCA sockets plus a Bluetooth input that supports aptX HD, so both a phone and a wired source can be connected. It is the answer where a full-size amplifier simply would not fit.
The two Speaker Box 3 E Carbon are two-way loudspeakers 175 mm tall, with a stated response of 83 Hz to 20 kHz and a weight of 1.69 kg apiece. The Connect it LS E Flex cable uses 99.99 % OFC copper conductors in 1.5 mm² stranded form, while the Damp it feet, made of TPE, go under the loudspeakers to decouple them from whatever they stand on. The set is offered in several finish combinations of amplifier and loudspeakers.
