Integrated amplification, loudspeaker control and sources in a single chassis
Rotel A-10 MKII is a Class AB integrated amplifier rated at 50 W per channel into 8 ohms and 60 W per channel into 4 ohms, designed to combine preamplification and power amplification in a complete stereo chain.
The output section is powered by an in-house high-current toroidal transformer and operates through a direct analogue signal path. RCA analogue inputs for line-level sources provide compatibility with traditional components. The design is deliberately analogue and focuses on line sources, vinyl, tone controls and a headphone output, without integrating a DAC or streaming.

Power and control
A-10 MKII delivers 50 W per channel into 8 ohms and 60 W per channel into 4 ohms, with declared THD below 0.03%. A damping factor of 120 complements its current capability and helps maintain woofer control, particularly as loudspeaker load varies with frequency.
Power supply
An in-house high-current toroidal transformer powers the amplifier. The transformer and filter capacity support the output section during transients and keep the supply voltage stable, so dynamic performance does not rely solely on the declared nominal power.
Conversion and digital inputs
The design is entirely analogue and does not include a DAC or digital inputs. This keeps the signal path simple and leaves players, streamers or external converters to provide an analogue signal already prepared for preamplification.
Analogue inputs
RCA analogue inputs are provided for line-level sources. The sources enter the preamplifier without conversion and share the same volume control, allowing a system to be built around players, tuners, external DACs and other analogue components.
Vinyl
An MM phono stage is included. A compatible turntable can therefore be connected directly without adding an external phono preamplifier, keeping vinyl within the same control system.
Connectivity and everyday use
The design is deliberately analogue and focuses on line sources, vinyl, tone controls and a headphone output, without integrating a DAC or streaming. Operation remains centred on physical controls and the remote, with a traditional layout that requires neither network nor app for the main functions.
Chassis and dimensions
The chassis measures 430 x 73 x 347 mm and weighs 6.5 kg. Transformer, heatsinks and circuit boards are arranged to keep sensitive sections away from the main sources of noise and heat, providing a stable mechanical base for the power section.
