Streaming, HDMI and 220 watts into 4 ohms in a single connected amplifier
Rotel RAS-5000 is an integrated streaming amplifier rated at 140 W per channel into 8 ohms and 220 W into 4 ohms, with 32-bit ESS DAC, HDMI eARC and Roon Ready platform.
The model combines Class AB amplification and network streaming in a single chassis, removing the need for a separate streamer. Wi-Fi and Ethernet handle Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay 2, Google Cast and internet radio, while HDMI, PC-USB, digital and analogue inputs connect a TV and traditional sources to the same system.

Class AB power
RAS-5000 delivers 140 W per channel into 8 ohms and 220 W into 4 ohms. A damping factor of 290 contributes to loudspeaker control and declared THD remains below 0.03%, providing an output section robust enough for a main stereo system.
Integrated streaming
The network platform supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, internet radio and podcasts. Music can therefore be received directly from the home network without an external transport, keeping streamer, DAC and amplification in the same chassis.
Roon Ready
Roon Ready certification allows RAS-5000 to receive streams directly from Roon over the network. Integration requires no separate endpoint and uses the amplifier's internal DAC, maintaining a compact digital path between server, network and analogue section.
ESS DAC and PC-USB
The 32-bit ESS DAC handles network sources and digital inputs. PC-USB supports audio up to 24-bit/384 kHz and MQA, while coaxial and optical connections accept signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz for players and other sources.
HDMI eARC
The HDMI eARC input connects the television with one cable and returns audio to the stereo system. This allows the Hi-Fi loudspeakers to be used for films and series, keeping the TV among the amplifier's sources alongside streaming and audio components.
Bluetooth and analogue sources
Bluetooth supports aptX™ HD and AAC for compatible devices, while analogue inputs accept traditional sources. The system is therefore not limited to streaming and can become the centre of a mixed chain using components from different generations.
Network and control
Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi connect RAS-5000 to the network, while the Rotel app manages configuration and sources. Control functions sit alongside the front panel and remote, so everyday operation does not depend exclusively on a smartphone.
Chassis and dimensions
The chassis measures 431 x 144 x 425 mm and weighs 15.7 kg. Its mass reflects the transformer and Class AB output stage, while the internal layout separates the power supply from the network and digital-conversion sections.
