CD, Bluetooth and DAB+ radio in 21 centimetres
The RCD-M41DAB is a compact 2 x 30W CD receiver with Bluetooth, FM/DAB+, two optical inputs and a subwoofer output.
This is the D-M41 series electronics sold without speakers. At 210mm wide, it can drive the matching SC-M41 pair or other compatible speakers. It integrates CD, FM/DAB+ radio and Bluetooth, but not HEOS or Wi-Fi. Compared with the RCD-N12 DAB+ it is simpler, less powerful and aimed primarily at physical media and direct connections.

Role in the system
Two optical inputs can accept a television and another digital source, while the analogue input serves a conventional component. Dedicated SC-M41 optimisation adjusts the output for the matching pair. Timer, alarm and headphone output suit use in a bedroom, study or kitchen.
Speakers are not included, so a pair must be added to complete the system. It suits installations where home networking is not a priority; the RCD-N12 DAB+ is the natural step for HEOS, HDMI ARC, phono and greater output.
The CD player also accepts MP3 and WMA data discs, allowing a small library to play without networking. Bluetooth can be disabled when unnecessary, reducing radio-circuit activity. The Simple & Straight path and Triple Noise Reduction function address interference within a chassis containing several sections.
