JBL FS: floor stands made for the Stage 250B and 240B loudspeakers

The FS are the floor stands JBL designed for the 240B and 250B bookshelf loudspeakers of the Stage 2 series. They bring the loudspeaker to the right listening height and give it a stable footing. Sold as a pair, in Black and White finishes.

The column raises the tweeter to the optimum level, so that neither high-frequency detail nor imaging precision is lost. The styling follows that of the Stage 2 models. Clips built into the stand guide the loudspeaker cable and keep it tidy once everything is installed. Each stand rests on a plinth, and the floor spikes are screwed by hand into its feet: they adjust from above and add stability on thick rugs and carpet. The design was developed at the JBL acoustic engineering centre in Northridge, California.

Each stand measures 706 x 80 x 160 mm (height x width x depth) and weighs 4.9 kg: dimensions and weight refer to the single stand, not to the two together.
