A 2 x 200 W active tower with HDMI ARC and phono input
Totem Kin Play Tower II combines amplification, DAC and connectivity in a floorstanding system using twin 5-inch woofers per speaker and stated response down to 30 Hz.
It is the KIN Play model for users wanting a complete system without separate electronics. HDMI ARC connects directly to a television, while Bluetooth 5.0, optical, phono/line RCA, mini-jack and AMP IN cover music, TV, turntable and external-streamer duties.
Key features
- Integrated amplification rated at 2 x 200 W RMS.
- 2 x 5-inch Natural Hybrid woofers per speaker.
- 1-inch soft-dome tweeter.
- Specified frequency response of 30 Hz-22 kHz ±3 dB.
- HDMI ARC input for television connection.
- Bluetooth 5.0, optical, phono/line RCA, AUX and AMP IN.
- Dedicated subwoofer output.
- Optical input supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
From television to turntable without changing systems
HDMI ARC allows television remote control of volume and power, while the phono input accepts a turntable with MM cartridge directly. AMP IN bypasses the internal preamplifier so that a Wi-Fi streamer or source with its own volume control can feed the power stage.
More complete than the standmount KIN Play models
Compared with KIN Play and KIN Play Mini, Tower II provides much greater amplifier power, two woofers per channel, deeper bass extension and HDMI ARC. It therefore suits medium-to-large living rooms, larger televisions and higher listening levels while keeping the simplicity of an active stereo pair.
When to choose it
It is intended for users wanting to replace amplifier, DAC and loudspeakers with one complete floorstanding stereo system. It can operate alone for music and TV or be extended with a subwoofer when cinema, gaming or bass-heavy material requires more energy below the 30-40 Hz region.
