The Barco Njord is a professional home cinema projector designed for high-end dedicated theaters. Based on 3-chip DLP® technology, it integrates a powerful pure laser RGB light source and native 4K UHD 4096 × 2160 resolution, ensuring detailed, stable and artefact-free images. The three 0.9” DMDs ensure superior uniformity and color accuracy compared to single-chip systems. The platform, derived from professional digital cinema, offers wide coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, HDR10 / HLG support and authentically cinematic visual rendering. It is the ideal solution for luxury installations with large screens.

High brightness and advanced dynamic contrast

The highly efficient RGB laser light source allows the Njord to reach up to approximately 9,000 lumens , ensuring brightness and uniformity even on very large surfaces. The Dynamic Laser Dimming system improves contrast scene by scene, increasing image depth and three-dimensionality. Proprietary video processing precisely manages HDR tone mapping , with 12-bit color processing and advanced scaling. The interchangeable TLD+ professional lenses offer maximum flexibility during installation.

The professional chassis integrates an active cooling system, a long-lasting laser light source , and long-term calibration stability.
