The Barco Thor is a cinema-grade projector designed to bring the quality of true digital cinema to the most exclusive private theaters. Based on a professional 3-chip DLP® platform, it integrates a powerful pure RGB laser light source and an optical architecture derived directly from the DCI world. It is designed for large spaces, where high brightness, color stability, and image uniformity are essential requirements. Thanks to highly efficient RGB laser technology, it guarantees extremely saturated colors, deep blacks, and consistent output over time, without the decay typical of traditional lamps. Professional performance for large screens
The Thor uses three 0.98" DMD chips with native 4K DCI resolution of 4096 x 2160 , ensuring true detail without interpolation or pixel shifting. The RGB laser platform allows for wide coverage of the DCI color space, offering faithful, cinematic reproduction. Its high brightness makes it ideal for large screens, maintaining contrast and depth even on very large surfaces. It supports HDR content and features interchangeable professional lenses to adapt to different projection distances. It is designed for fixed installations, integrated into dedicated environments and controllable via advanced home automation systems.
