Wireworld Silver Starlight 10 Coaxial Digital Audio is a tenth-generation 75 Ohm coaxial digital cable, designed for digital audio connections between streamers, CD players, DACs, AV processors and hi-fi components.
It takes the design of the Gold Starlight 10 and replaces its solid silver conductors with OCC®-7N silver-clad copper conductors, to keep the cost down. The design is the Tri DNA HELIX® with 3 conductors and 20 insulated strands, a 24 AWG (0.2 mm²) gauge and COMPOSILEX® 5 insulation. According to Wireworld, compared with conventional coaxial cables it improves clarity, three-dimensional focus and dynamic contrasts.
The standard version is terminated RCA to RCA, with silver-clad OFC contacts; on request it is available with 75 Ohm BNC connectors.
Lengths and specifications
Available in lengths of 0.5 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m and 3 m. Before buying, choose the length according to the distance between the digital source and the DAC.
