Wireworld Starlight 10 Twinax Ethernet is a high-end Ethernet cable designed for high-performance audio/video network connections. It is ideal for network streamers, music servers, NAS drives, audiophile switches, smart TVs, home cinema systems and hi-fi systems where stability, signal purity and noise reduction are essential.
The construction uses silver-clad OFC conductors, a Tite-Shield™ Technology design and COMPOSILEX® 5 insulation, intended to isolate network noise and improve the quality of digital transmission. Compared with an ordinary Ethernet cable, the Twinax geometry and the internal shielding help to keep the signal cleaner, which is especially useful on the final runs between router, switch, streamer or AV devices.
The cable is terminated with RJ45 connectors with 24K gold-plated contacts and is available in several lengths, so that it fits easily into advanced home systems, AV racks, media rooms and professional installations. The manufacturer specifies a Tite-Shield™ 100 Ohm design, 23AWG conductors, Silver-clad OFC material and COMPOSILEX® 5 insulation.
