CD-S303RK is the rack-mountable Yamaha Business CD player, with CD and USB playback, Pure Direct, Ready Mode, Play Mode Memory and an optimised reading circuit.
The model derives from the CD-S303 platform but adds functions intended for events, retail environments and permanent installations. It can be rack-mounted, stores playback mode and includes Ready Mode, while the audio section retains separate power supplies, a floating pickup, Intelligent Digital Servo and a 192 kHz/24-bit DAC.

Professional installation
The chassis is prepared for rack mounting and makes CD-S303RK suitable for installations where the player must remain fixed with other electronics. The construction retains direct front controls, allowing the main operations to be carried out without relying on a computer or external management system.
Ready Mode and memory
Ready Mode prepares the player to start from the selected point when the command is given, useful at events and in environments where playback must begin precisely. Play Mode Memory retains the operating mode, while Last Track Resume allows playback to continue from the previous track after an interruption.
Pure Direct
Pure Direct switches off the display and disables the digital output when the analogue output is used, reducing possible internal sources of noise. The function follows the same philosophy used on Yamaha Hi-Fi components and remains available in this professional version, where operational reliability and audio quality need to coexist.
Circuits and power supplies
The power supplies for the motor, display, USB section and digital and analogue circuits are isolated from one another to limit electromagnetic interference. The mechanism is centrally positioned to distribute weight, while signal paths are kept short and direct between the different sections.
Pickup and Intelligent Digital Servo
The laser pickup is mounted on a floating mechanism that protects it from chassis vibration. Intelligent Digital Servo uses a dedicated DSP to correct tracking, focus and motor speed when a disc is warped, dusty or affected by other conditions that can make reading less stable.
USB, formats and DAC
The front USB port plays MP3, WMA, LPCM, AAC and FLAC files alongside CD and CD-R/RW playback. The D/A converter operates at 192 kHz/24-bit, while the ability to use both optical discs and USB memory makes the player suitable for installations with music libraries from different sources.
