It is also equipped with a high-performance 130mm (5”) KlarityTM driver for exceptional timing and refined bass. Superb 25mm (1”) woven polyester dome tweeter delivers evenly open and extended high frequencies. 
LINTON
Retro style, timeless sound
To celebrate its history Wharfedale has created the Heritage Series of famous models from its past, entirely redesigned using contemporary techniques and materials. The latest speaker to join this collection is the Linton.
The original Linton debuted in 1965 and the line continued in various iterations through the late 1970s. A classic model of its time. Its cabinet was substantial, large enough to fit three drive units including a good-sized bass unit, but not overly bulky by the standards of the time.
The new Linton bears a clear resemblance to its predecessor. It too is a three-way model – a rarity in the modern era – which maintains similar proportions to the classic Linton models. Its wood veneer cabinet has a vintage feel, but the standard of finish is resolutely contemporary.
WHARFEDALE EVO 4.2
The dawn of a new standard
The new Evo 4.2 is the result of the same research and development from which the flagship Elysian loudspeakers were born. A unique listening experience thanks to a studied technology, capable of accurately reproducing even high-frequency details.
The main focus is on the development of AMT resulting in a radically different way of reproducing high frequency detail efficiently and accurately. ELYSIAN-like cabinet technology provides a stable and solid foundation for the drive units with rounded edges to help integrate the driver output with room acoustics. Furthermore, the unique SLPP bass reflex system, developed for ELYSIAN, is now incorporated in EVO4.
